This jacket is made from an early 1900's double wedding ring quilt. The quilt pattern has long been a symbol of love and romance. Interlocking rings symbolize marriage, while the quilt is traditionally made by mothers and grandmothers for their children and given as gifts on their wedding or anniversaries. This quilt was made by a lady named Anika for her husband for their 15 anniversary. The couple cherished the quilt for decades.
