Varsity Letterman Patches


An assortment of vintage varsity letterman patches dating from as early as the 1930's.

These letters have been taken off of school jackets, once belonging to students. The letters stood to represent the identity, team background, or achievement of the players and students, such as a cheerleader or marching band. Many patches contain multiple pins which, including chevrons or bars, which were used to recognize multi-year achievement for sports athletes.
