Late 1800's hand woven European linen/cotton blend bolt. Densely woven, floppy construction. Dyed a deep, dark matte blue with a hint of dark gray with a modern hot water dye, at a more recent date. Originally woven for clothing or sheeting with its fine weave. It took the average weaver an entire night to weave only 21 inches of this fine linen. And that's after growing the plants, retting and spinning the flax into threads and yarns.
