1903 Memorial Autograph Quilt. Hand embroidered with signatures of the names of a church congregation from the 2nd Presbyterian Church that burned near Richardson County, Nebraska. A name on the quilt is that of Rex Woodring, 12 at the time his church burned down. Rex later became a PhD who worked to cure pigs of cholera and other diseases in the early 1900's and also taught at the University of Nebraska.
