This jacket is made from a 1930 pinwheel patchwork quilt. The pattern has been derived from many names including pinwheel, wild goose chase, or haywire. Lightweight made for the springtime in Illinois, by loving wife Dorothy, for her three young boys. It was cherished among the family and the center of memories while it was passed down for decades.
