This shirt is hand printed using analog imagery of Tristan and surfer buddies searching for waves up the Southern California coast in 2021. Hand printed on dead-stock linen.
 
Cyanotype is a slow reacting, hand-printing process, invented in 1842. It involves laying a photo negative on a materials coated with iron salt solution before exposing it to UV light. The result is the exposed positive image in vibrant prussian blue.
