18th century Japanese Boro Unconstructed Blazer (M)


This unconstruced blazer is made from an 18th century Japanese boro cloth. Hand woven and hand stitched with mending. Originally used as a futon cover. Plaid and striped indigo blue.

Embroidered "STAN" on left arm.

Notch lapels. Single breasted. Throat latch collar.

Two front buttons. Left chest welt pocket.

Two front waist welt pockets.

Single-button cuffs.

Cropped fit.

Double vent.​​​​​

Made in California.

Dry clean only.

Size medium 26" front body length, a 24.5" back body length, a 18" shoulder, a 42" chest, and a 33.25" sleeve length.


Each textile bares marks of the past. All signs of wear, character, stains and mending are reminders of its' history, and original to every carefully curated and preserved textile. Hand made in California.
