18th Century European Chore Jacket (M)
This chore jacket is made from two 18th century European linen grain sacks. Hand woven on a narrow loom. This textile uses fibers that would have been produced on the family farm, and they were woven by hand to be used for grain and olive harvest. This textile was distinctive, so each family hand their own particular stripe, color or even a stamp, so that the miller could return the sack once processed to the rightful family.
Vintage-inspired fit.
Slightly tapered waist.
Pointed collar. Five coat buttons.
Two waist patch pockets and two asymmetrical chest pockets.
Long sleeves with buttoned cuffs.
Subtle cutaway front hem.
Made in California.
Dry clean only.Size medium: 28" front body length, a 27" back body length, a 19.25 shoulder, a 46" chest, and a 34.75" sleeve length.
