This unconstructed blazer is made from a circa 1840 wool blanket from Connecticut. This blanket was hand woven by MaryAnne Frink in 1840, using sheep’s wool from her family’s farm in Ledyard, Connecticut. Mending throughout.
Notch lapels. Single breasted.Two front metal buttons. Left chest welt pocket.
Two front waist welt flap pockets.
Single-button cuffs.
Double vent.
Made in California.
Dry clean only.
Size medium 29.5" front body length, a 28.5" back body length, a 18" shoulder, a 42" chest, and a 33.25" sleeve length.
Each textile bares marks of the past. All signs of wear, character, stains and mending are reminders of its' history, and original to every carefully curated and preserved textile. Hand made in California.
