White Dresden Plate Hoodie Jacket (S,M)
$695.00Price
This hoodie is made from a mid century feed sack Dresden Plate quilt. The vintage piece originaly belonged to Nessa and Jon and their family of seven, in Pennsylvania.
The Dresden Plate pattern was the most popular quilt pattern made in the 1920s. More representative of a flower than a plate, the typical design features circles made of "petals" with a pointed design. Aster, Dahlia, Sunflower, Friendship Ring, and Grandmother’s Sunburst are other names of the pattern, all of which coincide with the floral appearance.
