This quilt jacket is made from a 1920 star feedsack quilt. The quilt is a restored piece that has been in the family of 75 year old couple May and Gary of Nebraska. It was hand-sewn by Gary's grandmother in 1920 to warm her grandchildren during cold winter Nebraska nights. It has sat for decades being passed along throughout the family.
The collar is lined with a Japanese tan corduroy.
It is mended with feed sack and corduroy patches.
