This drawstring front fly trouser is made from a 1900's cabin quilt. In history, these designs were not always so neatly organized and layed out like this one. They date back to the 1700's, and styles vary widely. It combines pictoral applique and pieced blocks which are artfully arranged using several patchwork patterns together in unison.
