This quilt jacket is made from a 1910 log cabin feedsack quilt. Curated by Clare Mckarns, lifelong quilter, restoration specialist, and curator of antique quilts between early 1800-2000. Member of the Bumann Quilters group in Olivenhain, California, sharing unique stories of curated antique quilts and textiles. This log cabin was found in Nebraska in the home of loving couple James and Eve, which warmed their loving family for decades. Lining is made from a chalky pink layered cotton with a jacquard weave which gives it a quilted look and feel.
