This jacket is made from a 1930 rail fence pattern feed sack quilt top. It was pieced by a woman named Gloria in North Carolina, and intended to be backed and made into a mid-weight quilt, but was never completed. Passed down through her family but never finished as intended.

All idiosyncrasies, mending, and wear are unique to the original textile.
