This rugby style shirt is made from a collection of 78 separate 1950's 6" chenille squares. The pieces have been cut from 5 chenille bedspreads and requilted into a red and white square patch. The history in this one peice compiles that of five historical bed linens. Known origins include Kansas and Tennessee.
The quilt pieces comprise of variations of popcorn chenille design.
All idiosyncrasies, mending, and wear are unique to the original textile.
