Circa 1900 floral French floral quilt. The fabric used to make the quilt is from early, around 1840.Floral fabric using a silk moire (watered silk) ground pattern with concentric designs. Dark, cooked wilk salmon tone. The backing is golden yellow. Hand stitched and hand quilted with a dense cotton batting between the layers.
