This c.1890 Ocean Waves Quilt is from a loving home in Ravenna, Ohio. Hand pieced and quilted with double pink and white double irish chain pattern, also known as ocean waves. It has almost always been used for decorative purposes, except when the winters got especially cold and the children needed extra warmth by the fireside.
