This two sided jacket is made from a mid to late 1800s blue and white double cloth weave floral and star coverlet blanket. Originally property of Darleen and Joseph Mason, farm workers, of Suffolk County, New York. It was used as a heavy bed coverlet and then became a focal point of houshold decor.
