This is a 1930s hand tied wool quilt. It was found in Harrison, Arkansas, where an old lady told the story of its past. Originally property of the Baker family from a country home outside of the main town of Harrison, where it was made by the grandmother and used by her 8 grandchildren as they passed through her cozy home. Wide stripes of brown, beige and turquoise. Tied with tan ties and backed with the palest pink blanket. A style representing the epitome of a bygone era.
