A pair of two early 19th Century brown striped grain sack. Nubby hand loomed linen. This sack was hand woven and was once used for storing grains.

Grain sacks were hand-woven and used for storing grains. The stripe on the grain sack indicated which family farm it belonged to and ensured that the miller returned the sack to its rightful owner.
