1910-1920 French toile de jouy curtain. Printed around 1910-1920 in France. The violet tone was created using an iron mordant followed by a madder dye bath. This toile depicts different scenes of people spending time outdoors; there is a woman swinging being pulled on a rope by a gentleman; people riding in a carriage pulled by horses; and a lovely family scene outdoors with children.
